l’Orangerie
Within five kilometers from Uzès, you will find a small village called Vallabrix. Next to an historical old castle, there is l’Orangerie. An Orangery is a dedicated building on the grounds of fashionable residences of Europe from the 17th to the 19th centuries where orange and other fruit trees were protected during the winter.
l’Orangerie has a spacious and large garden, with over 3,000 square meters filled with trees and cosy terraces. The swimming pool is located in the garden and is (sometimes) shared with other guests. The garden has beautiful Mediterranean trees, such as cypresses, olive trees, and a large lawn (the garden has an automatically lockable gate).
The building has characteristic wrought iron windows, and there is a lounge with an old fireplace. From the lounge there is a beautiful view of the garden with 2 shaded terraces (pleasant during the warm summer months). In l’Orangerie there is a large kitchen with a fridge/freezer, a microwave and a large gas stove with oven. There is a walk-in shower with a sink and a separate toilet, and a washing machine is also provided. Pets are not allowed.
A charming location to relax in a pleasant village with all typical French products, bread and basic necessities you want during your stay in France.
We love to welcome you.
